Pupil Premium Statement
Pupil Premium funding was introduced in April 2011. Schools are allocated funding for children from low-income families who were eligible for free school meals, looked after children and those from families with parents in the Armed Forces.
The funding is used to:
- raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.
- support children and young people in school.
The Department for Education has clear expectations about how the Pupil Premium Funding may be spent for the educational benefit of pupils.
Glebedale School received pupil premium money for a small number of pupils during 2023 -2024. Money is spent in agreement with professionals working with the individual pupil to best benefit the pupil; this includes additional IT equipment, reading books or music lessons. An individual log of spending is kept for each child on the school site.
Complaints
Glebedale School is committed to working in close partnership with parents and carers in order to deliver the highest standards in education.
Whilst we strive to achieve the very best welfare and education provision for all pupils it is recognised that there may be occasions where concerns arise. The school is committed to responding to any concerns both promptly and courteously.
A copy of the school’s Complaints Policy is available above. This sets out clear timelines for the management of any complaint.
Glebedale School received one complaint during the last academic year 2023- 2024.
